Nancy is a lifelong resident of Iowa who joined Compass Financial Services in 2004.
She attended the American Institute of Business and after graduating she began her professional career as a freelance court reporter with the firm of Launspach & Kiel. After spending 16 years with the firm, Nancy then transitioned into the role of full-time mother for the next four years after the birth of her second son.
Nancy’s position at Compass is about ensuring compliance with the many rules and regulations governing our profession which includes our yearly audit, licensing renewals and continuing education. She also assists the advisors with administrative duties while also coordinating and planning all our Compass client events.
Nancy and her husband Tom live in Johnston. They have two sons, one in Milwaukee and one in Kansas City. She and her husband love to travel and always have at least one trip on the horizon. They also enjoy cooking and experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes. Nancy enjoys her two book clubs, various groups with friends, bicycling, hiking and volunteering at the Urbandale Food Pantry.
